GUEMBRI SUPERSTAR FEAT. LOVA LOVA & EMMA LAMADJI
Handcrafted percussion and string instruments enhanced by electronics unleash raw, danceable music for a timeless celebration where cultures intensify furiously as they intersect. Led by Lova Lova, aka Maître Tonnerre, Guembri Superstar takes you on a journey into a hybrid folk trance rooted in ancestral traditions and fueled by urban energy straight from the Kinshasa ghetto. Joining them is the magnetic Franco-Central African singer Emma Lamadji, whose powerful and soulful voice infuses this electric celebration with a spiritual intensity.

HIEROGLYPHIC BEING / HAMID DRAKE / SHABAKA / DUDÙ KOUATÉ
Four visionary sound explorers come together for a brand-new creation where ancient African traditions, trance, improvisation, spiritual jazz, and electronic music converge. Against the backdrop of the cosmic textures and hypnotic beats of Chicago-based DJ Hieroglyphic Being, drummer Hamid Drake’s earthy rhythms interact with Shabaka’s incandescent breath and Dudù Kouaté’s ritual percussion. A free-flowing, vibrant sound ceremony—and perhaps, already, the music of the future.
